The Nike Zoom Soldier 10 released hours after the Cleveland Caveliers won the 2016 NBA Championships and, being the shoe LeBron wore in final game, immediately came with an aura of grandeur. Now, Nike are compounding two of LeBron’s great basketball moments by giving the shoe the coveted ‘Dunkman’ colour scheme’.
The scheme harkens back to LeBron’s first NBA game – where he intercepted a pass and surged at the rim with a heroic, one-handed, ball-behind-the-head dunk that had him appear to be suspended in air. Since then the colourway has plastered tonal greys and lime green across a number of LeBron’s signature models, with this Zoom Soldier 10 being the most recent. Here the colourway is interpreted with a light grey across the forefoot, and an ash grey towards the heel. The characteristic ‘Dunkman’ green then glows underfoot, and on the outline of the Swoosh.
The Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier 10 is available now from Hanon.
