Nike Zoom I Get Buckets
It's not all adulation all the time for Kyrie Irving anymore – his decent stats and All-Star game MVP can't get his Cavs into Playoffs, and the vultures are circling to pick him apart. Is he really as good as we expected or is he overrated? Maybe this sneak will send him into the stratosphere though, as we wonder if the young blood baller is moving on from the as his sneaker of choice. It's hard to imagine Kyrie having nothing to do with this new Nike Zoom I Get Buckets model, as the name borrows a much-loved line from Irving's , but we'll have to wait and see. The model is available at some stockists in Asia now, and should make its way across the world later this year, but we've got a pair in front of us in the office right now so can give you the goss on it. Firstly, it's pretty damn light, so it seems like a good fit for Kyrie, as he favours featherweight footwear, and there's some tight lockdown support around the laces thanks to some Flywire and mesh. Plus there's some nice reflective detailing around the heel that'll blind your opponents when you whiz past 'em, and the Zoom midsole keeps things comfy. These are definitely ball shoes though, they don't look superfly with jeans, in the blue/orange/white colourway at least. Pics via .
