Nike Unveils the Zoom Vaporfly 4% Flyknit
The Zoom Fly isn’t the only silhouette getting a new Flyknit upgrade: say hello to the Zoom Vaporfly 4% Flyknit. Essentially an even lighter version of the Swoosh’s runner, the new kicks stay true to the original with energy-returning ZoomX foam and an embedded full-length carbon fibre plate to provide the sensation of propulsion. What changes, however, is the shoe’s upper, which now comes in supportive foot-hugging Flyknit.
Expect an early release for Nike Plus members in Europe who complete a special while subsequent drops will take place in China and Japan on September 6 before a North American debut on October 4.
