Since the kicks were launched back in 2009, Stefan Janoski's signature shoe has been a go-to for Nike SB – providing a killer canvas for the Swoosh's skate imprint over the past decade. To date, at least 11 different versions of the silhouette have been released in over 1,530 total variations.
Now, in honour of the shoe's place in footwear history, Nike have dropped a special documentary that gives an inside look at the shoe. Dubbed 'For Daily Use', the nearly eight-minute-long piece features insights from the Vacaville-born skater himself, as well as designer James Arizumi and SB's Kevin Imamura, as they document the SB Janoski's arduous beginnings and meteoric rise to instant classic status.
Check out the doc below and stay tuned for more Janoski goodness – including the upcoming Violent Femmes colab – in the months ahead.
