Riding a skateboard for hours every day pulverises your knees and ankles, so it's pretty amazing that for so long the tech in skate shoes has been relatively basic when compared to most other sports footwear. Nike has been slicing, dicing and splicing up in the lab recently though, and have infused some of their skate wear with running innovations. We've seen the Koston 2 Max, but now Nike bless us with this 'Renewal' collection. We see Stefan Janoski's and Paul Rodriguez's signature sneaks join Koston in the future, with all three fitted with forefoot Free sole tech and Air cushioning down back. All models are blacked-out, with some electric lime accents squeezed into the Janoski and Koston while the P-Rod nails the straight badass aesthetic. The pack arrives at the Nike store today.
