Nike Revisit the Air More Uptempo ‘Olympic’

Originally laced by Scottie Pippen and Charles Barkley during the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, the ‘Olympic’ is back for a third retro.

Previously re-released in 2012 and 2016, the third iteration of the Olympian classic is constructed with patriotic navy blue nubuck and gargantuan ‘AIR’ branding on the lateral and medial sides. A gold-trimmed #8 on the heel pays homage to the number Scottie Pippen wore during the Olympic Games (where Team USA took home their second-straight gold medal).

Priced at $160, the Nike Air More Uptempo ‘Olympic’ is expected to land at Nike before the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. (Note: The Tokyo Olympics are still currently scheduled but this may change as the impact of COVID-19 is felt across the sporting world).
