It doesn't matter how many years go by, Nike's Air Huarache is still one of the most comfortable sneakers money can buy. And as further testament to the Hua's eternal youth, the model's OG colourways arguably remain its very best. From 'Purple Punch' to 'Hot Lime', we'll take all the retros we can get our hands on. Someone at the Swoosh is obviously as big a fan of the OG colours as we are, because Nike have two new Huaraches on the way that are heavy on heritage vibes.
The first new Hua runs with a Miami Dolphins—inspired colour scheme that mimics the classic 'Emerald' OG. The second flips the script on the legendary 'Scream Green' combo, running with an inverted green and blue colour palette. The colours are quite the same as their apparent OG inspirations — and both feature coloured toe boxes — but we're happy to welcome both to the Huarache family.
No release date has been announced for these latest Nike Air Huaraches, but with official shots on the loose, we can assume they'll be hitting stockists soon.
