Out of nowhere  launched the much-hyped x 'Powder Blue' through their SNKRS platform. The drop went down around 10:30am PST, May 23.

Unfortunately, if you're reading this, you're too late – every last pair was snapped up in an instant – but even managing to place an order didn't guarantee a W. Numerous buyers who made it through to the reassuring 'GOT 'EM' screen and received confirmation emails are reporting that their orders have been cancelled.

Twitter user Heskicks claims to have contacted Nike direct after his order was cancelled and was told that 'a large number of people' were affected and that there will be more information in the next three to five business days.

Does this mean that any purchaser will receive their pair or was it all one big screw up? Whatever the case, it hasn't stopped buyers from listing their pairs on the resale market with exorbitant mark-ups. Best to hold off buying until the whole matter is cleared up.
