Since it got retroed earlier this year, Nike’s Air Max Deluxe has stayed true to its 90s roots, releasing in a flurry of colours. But, in 2018, a retro campaign isn’t complete without the required triple black. The Swoosh are side-stepping their obligations, however, and are giving the latest Air Max Deluxe a twist.
While they stick to convention across their mesh upper, mudguard and sole unit, which are all blacked-out, they also sport a copper duochrome on the moulded heel counter.
Duochrome? Murdered-out Deluxe? Sounds like Nike are taking inspo from their own Skepta colabs and making a crowd-pleaser.
No release date yet, but we’ll keep you posted.
