Nike Overhaul the VaporMax Flyknit

Date: February 13 2018

Now that it’s had a solid 12 months on the streets, don’t you think it’s time the Flyknit version of Nike’s Air VaporMax received an update?

The all-Air sole unit has already enjoyed varied applications, and now we’regetting our first look at the second iteration of the shoe’s mainline construction.

At a glance, the bubbles beneath are essentially unchanged, whereas the upper has been reengineered with a new knit pattern and adjusted fused support zones. If anything, the new silhouette is marginally slimmer, but we’ll be hanging out to see how the changes translate once the shoe hits the foot.

The Nike Air VaporMax Flyknit 2 doesn’t have a solid release date just yet, but we wouldn't be surprised if it made its debut in the lead up to Air Max Day, which falls at the end of March. Stay tuned.
