UPDATE In honor of the countries that will be gracing the pitches of the World Cup, Nike have gone the iD route with their Lunarglide 6, allowing loyal fans to show their complete devotion to their team and countrymen in style. A new colour scheme for the ladies has been introduced and like the mens version, it has been given some multi-coloured flavor. The Lunarglide 6 is to hit Nike retailers July 10 and the iD styles can be got from Nike.com.
Retro running and basketball definitely rules the sneaker roost in the streetwear world, but it is good to look forward from time to time and see what the new horizon has to offer. The LunarGlide has been a relatively popular all-round silhouette over the past half a decade, transcending off the track and scoring some shine in the Gyakusou collections and on the feet of everyday chillers. Now we are set to see a sixth installment in the series, and once again the model has morphed further into the future. Featuring a new breed of Lunarlon foam that is said to deliver lightweight, plush cushioning, the model also harnesses a newly reworked Dynamic Support system for tapered support through the wearer's natural running gait. Technicality aside, these runners look super fresh in a predominantly white mesh makeup with orange, blue and yellow accenting through the heel, branding and sole unit. Stay tuned for more info, including release dates, as it comes in. News via SA.
