Rasheed Wallace was only eight years old when Nike released the first Air Force 1, and by the time he joined the Washington Bullets in 1995 there were dozens of more advanced ballers on the market. That didn't stop Sheed adopting the trusty AF1 as his favourite shoe, wearing it night in and night out throughout his career.
In celebration of Sheed's devotion, Nike have opened up their vault to show us some of his favourite pairs. Early on, he stuck to simple two-tone make-ups, matching his shoes to his uniform, but as the love grew, Nike offered him his own exclusive pairs. These had a few more bells and whistles than his first pairs - they were dressed in patent leather and had the 'SHEED' logo embroidered at the heel.
