UPDATE: Dope sneakers and for an even doper cause – what more can we ask for?! On shelves and online this weekend, fam. Get some.

A inspired by  himself. It's kind of a running theme for King James' signature kicks – this one is a little bit special, though. Designed by Kian Safholm, an 11-year-old who has just recovered from a vicious staph infection that resulted in no less than three separate heart surgeries. The young Cavs fan looked up to the persistence and courage of the four-time MVP to keep up the good fight and make it through the life-threatening ordeal – and, most importantly, return to court! They say LeBron possesses the heart of a lion and so the valiant youngster chose to replicate the colours of a savanna sunrise on the upper and hot damn it is fiyah! Like all releases, the shoes are loaded with intricate details, including custom aglets, LeBron's signature on the tongue, stylised lions printed on the heel and a family crest created by Kian on the sockliner with the words 'Forever Grateful' in acknowledgement of the Doernbecher crew's lifesaving efforts. These are hands down one of the sleekest releases in the entire , so you better be ready to strike when these drop on November 21st at select stateside retailers and Nike.com (10am EST). Both men's and GS sizing will be available, along with a matching hat and tee.
