The Cavs suffered a heartbreaking five-point-loss in Game 3 of the NBA Finals, reducing Cleveland's hopes of taking out a back-to-back championship to about as low as your chances of finding a pair of self-lacing Nike Mags on the shelves of your local Foot Locker. While no less devastating, Game 3 delivered one of the most thrilling spectacles of the entire postseason and with Kyrie Irving stealing the spotlight with a phenomenal 38 points on court, it was hard not to notice his choice of footwear. Kyrie laced up in a specially made Player Exclusive of his signature Kyrie 3 for the ocassion, with a unique twist that made them truly stand out.
The black and yellow pair featured an unusual lateral and medial colourway split, meaning that the shoes either appeared to be either bright yellow with black details or black with white details depending on which side they were viewed from. A delicate dose of Cavs red is added to outline the exterior Swooshes and signature 'K' detailing on the tongue.
As a Player Exclusive, don't get your hopes up that the Nike Kyrie 3 'Finals' will ever be made available at retail. However, as one of the best PEs of the season, we'll certainly be keeping our fingers crossed.
