Nike set many trends last year, one of them being the DIY aesthetic that was created with the help of Virgil Abloh. Now they are trying to continue riding the same trend train with a new Pegasus 35 that features graphics very reminiscent of hand written quotes and drawings scattered throughout the shoe. 'Last one gets a rotten egg' has been positioned on the midsole, and 'Run to a magical place' on the insole. Nike tongue and insole branding takes place in the form of a unicorn-horned sneaker. While the laces didn't escape the graphics, with 'I love 2 run / I hate 2 run' adorning the whole lace.
These are set to drop on February 14, so if you need the encouragement of whimsical quotes on your kicks head over to Nike.com and select Nike stockists on drop day.
