Kevin Durant spent a lot of time with his Aunt Pearl as a child, he credits her with giving him the belief he needed to make the majors, and Nike have shouted her out in a few KD line releases that tie in with the Kay Yow women's cancer range. The latest is this KD VI, and it lays on the loving aunt vibes like a fresh baked cake, with a garden of roses printed across the upper paired with blue accents sitting on a pink outsole. Proceeds from the shoe will go to the Kay Yow Cancer Fund that was founded in 2007, which Nike helped set up as a tribute to the famed basketball coach who died from breast cancer. The KD VI Aunt Pearl shoe is available on February 27 at Nike.com and select retail locations globally. There is also a matching t-shirt and hat that will be available in February.
