Nike Just Quietly Retroed the OG Air Force 1 'Taiwan'
Can the brands stop with the exclusive All-Star Weekend drops already? Seriously! Those that couldn't make it to Cali (this writer included) are suffering serious FOMO – and we pray for the credit limits of those lucky enough to be in LA.
Nike sneakily added one extra sneaker to their already impressive roster of All-Star releases. Those hitting up Nike's 'Makers of the Game' LA pop-up have been greeted with an unannounced retro of the legendary Air Force 1 'Taiwan.'
The special edition Uptown originally released in 2001 as an Asian exclusive and quickly became a grail among Force fiends due to its mismatched gradient Swooshes. This is the first time Nike have resurrected the design and 2018's retro looks as crisp as ever. The only change looks to be the switch to an icy blue outsole to keep yellowing at bay – a welcome addition if you ask us!
