Like great songs, great designs can slap for decades. Looking back to product of 1983, this is true for Bruce Kilgore’s Air Force 1 and David Bowie’s ‘Let’s Dance’ – maybe even more so for the AF-1. Look, all praise to Bowie, but if he’d remixed ‘Let’s Dance’ as many times as Nike have with the Uptown, it’d be wiped from servers by now.
This PRM drives home Nike’s ability to make slight tweaks that still wow, with ‘Pale Ivory’ and ‘Light Cream’ colouring premium canvas and extra stitching surrounding the Swoosh, building a release that gives you an excuse to add yet another Air Force 1 to the collection.
