Nike Give the Midas Touch to Air Max 97 ‘Gold Medal’

Off the back of huge five-pair ‘Olympic Pack’  collection, a winner comes out on top: the ‘Gold Medal’. As the nickname suggests, this is a colourway that literally goes for gold.

It’s a fitting execution, seeing as gold was one of the AM97’s OG colourways. Here, the lustre is present everywhere. Everything is gold, save for black lining and red heel branding. Even the outsole is tonally iced out.

Some sneakerheads may remember with a similar finish, but these 97s up the ante in the shine department.
