The Nike Free Ace LTHR (read: Leather) has got some good things going for itself, and if this 'Haystack' colour-up is anything to go by it has a lot more good things to come. But let's stay on topic here – these wheaties are winning. Don't be thrown off by the LTHR name, though, the near-complete textile upper houses a complimentary-toned neoprene sockliner, which comes trimmed in Dark Loden and is hit with the embossed checks on the midfoot. More Dark Loden colour-blocking splices the upper from midsole, which is further highlighted by a light speckling and the inclusion of grooved gum compartments in the white outsole. Last but not least, a leather 'Haystack' brown power strap locks down the foot, emblazoned with billboard-sized Nike branding – just in case you ever look down at your feet and forget what team you're flying the flag for! Set at 120€, they have been popping up at a string of spots across Europe, including the likes of Foot District.
