In the four years since Flyknit was introduced, Nike have applied the knitted upper construction technology to various performance and lifestyle silhouettes, even retrofitting it to classic sneakers to create new lightweight offerings. Nike's liberal approach to Flyknit these days might have taken away some of its lustre, but the Flyknit Racer still holds a special place in our heart because of the impact the original 2012 line-up had back when it was first announced. The latest Flyknit Racer pictured here is a nod to the 'Multicolour' European exclusive colourway from 2013, with changes to the Flyknit thread colours and tongue tone to differentiate it from the original release. Luckily for those that missed out on these last time the new 2016 version will be available across the globe at select Nike retailers.
The Nike Flyknit Racer 'Multicolour' will be available online at Nike.com and select Nike Sportswear accounts.
