The wildly successful Flyknit Lunar 1+ franchise has a sequel, and it might have aced the rare achievement of being better than the original. Nike compared their Flyknit technology to spider silk strands, offering super lightweight strength and support and claim the Flyknit Lunar 2 has more stretch and is a better fit than its predecessor. The outsole also offers an evolved look and feel, with pressure patterns around the forefoot imitating bare feet padding, allowing for a more natural feel. The men's volt/white-blue glow and women's atomic orange/white-purple colourways will be available on Nike.com and at select retailers from February 6. Here Nike Senior Design Director, Rob Dolan talk about the genesis of the sneaker below.
