The Cortez is one of Nike’s earliest sneaker designs. It’s no accident that the round-toed runner has lasted so many years, with its classic shape and constant re-imagining, the Cortez has stayed on regular rotation through the Nike roster since 1972. The Beaverton massive are back with another fresh remix of their smash hit, the womens Cortez Ultra BR. The traditional nylon upper has been swapped for a welded Ultramesh variation, for heightened comfort and breathability. The sawtooth sole has been blown out to give an aggressive, jagged outsole, ready to sink its teeth into any terrain it steps to.
