Nineties basketball shoes have enjoyed a revival over the last few years, and so it only makes sense for Nike to revisit the era's athletic shoes too. Earlier this year, we saw the Air Max Speed Turf's return, and now Nike have dipped back into the archives to revive the Air DT Max ‘96’.
The training shoe, made famous by Deion Sanders, is a weird one. Its sort-of cow print stripes and midfoot strap sound strange on paper, but it's already been retroed three times, so its appeal is obviously strong.
The 90s gem has popped up without further explanation on US11, so it’s likely we will see a release soon. We’ll keep you posted.
