It took until 2017 for Kevin Durant to claim his first championship ring, but there was a time long before that when he came darn close. In 2012, KD and OKC gave their all in the NBA playoffs, leading to one of the most exciting Western Conference Finals of the decade. The Thunder faced off against the Spurs and overcame a 15-point halftime deficit in Game 6 to secure victory – thanks largely to 34 points scored by KD.
With Finals fever in the air, Nike are reliving that tremendous play and releasing Durant's KD 4s from the game. The make-up, which has never been released to the public, features a clean combination of white and blue. This marks the first time the KD 4 has ever been retroed.
The Nike KD 4 'Art of the Champion' releases June 7 through select stockists, including Rock City Kicks.
