UPDATE: A new recruit to Nike's Explorer collection, this much-hyped VaporMax has a bit of a story sewn through its Flyknit. The copper Swoosh (a feature that's elicited squeals from VaporMax's surging fanbase), references the deep-sea diving helmets of yesteryear, while the mottled upper nods to interplanetary adventure. But enough back story – here's the juicy bit: the Air VaporMax 'Explorer' (previously referred to as 'Cooper Swoosh') hits Nike+, , nike.com and select retailers (in men's sizes) on August 3. There’s no denying that have dropped some fresh colourways lately, but this latest version might just take the cake. The marled upper is a fuzzy mixture of that looks like some good ol’ fashioned TV static, while the airbags are blacked out for discretion. The key to the colourway rests in the copper metallic Swoosh that brands the sides, sure to catch a few second glances while you flash them about.
