UPDATE: Earlier this year, Nike announced they would be resurrecting the Air Unlimited in its OG form – to much surprise. Curiously, the big reveal was followed by radio silence from the Swoosh – until now. We have a confirmed release date for the high-cut silhouette, as made famous by Spurs superstar David Robinson back in '94. You better have your pennies saved, because these strapped stompers are landing November 5 at Nike.com and select Nike Sportswear stockists worldwide, including Caliroots.
If ever there was a good time to buy shares in Velcro it's now, as Nike are set to drop one of the most strap-laden shoes of the 90s: the Air Unlimited. Pigalle recently bought the shoe back to life with an all white version, now we’re getting the main course, the OG ‘White/Black/Emerald’ from the glory days of basketball. You can’t miss that ankle hugging high top, with all that lateral support you’ll be all over the court.
The Nike Air Unlimited ‘White/Black/Emerald’ doesn’t have a set drop date yet, stay tuned and we’ll let you know.
