Nike Air Penny 4 (Orlando Home)
The Nike 'Orlando Home' signature colourway has returned just in time for the 20th anniversary celebrations for the versatile point-guard. While the one-two punch of Penny and Shaq never clenched a NBA title for The Magic, their rival signature deals with Nike and Reebok respectively catapulted them into superstardom and cemented their place in sneaker and basketball culture forever. The Air Penny IV marked the Hardaway's final season with the Orlando Magic after Shaq moved to LA, and although it might not be as iconic as some of his other pro-models, it plays a significant role in the Penny Hardaway narrative that all 90s basketball fans can remember.
The latest Penny IV retro is the classic 'Home' colourway worn by Hardaway during games in The O-rena. Despite the striking sole unit missing the forefoot Air Zoom unit of the original design, the 2017 version stays true to the 1998 version aesthetically with tumbled white leather upper, one-piece inner bootie and nubuck overlays and ankle strap.
