In mythology the Pegasus is a rare beast, in the Nike catalogue it is not. In fact, it’s the longest continually running line of Nike shoes, now in its 33rd year. But this is a good thing, because Nike continue to produce fresh new versions of the Pegasus, while offering a steady flow of reworked retro editions – as seen here in the mean green ’83 version. The upper has been built from shades of olive and a bright khaki suede, with a dark green leather Swoosh. An olive wedge has been worked in next to the white EVA midsole, which is capped of with a complimentary gum sole. This one is sure to induce emotions of envy in anyone that sleeps on the drop.
You can get your hands on a pair of the Nike Air Pegasus ’83 ‘Olive Flak/Cargo Khaki’ now from select stockists, including Titolo.
