The Nike Air Oscillate was at the forefront of performance technology at release – Pete Sampras was dominating in these things back in '96. Nowadays it’s hard to look at the Oscillate as anything other than a straight-up dad shoe– the kind of thing that gets laced up tighter than any sneaker should and left on the veranda until Saturday arrives, when it’s put to good use ‘pottering around the garden.’ But, then you can always learn important life lessons off the old man, so let’s take it from Pops that the Oscillate is a comfortable, practical shoe. And, when we really think about it, they look pretty alright. Perhaps it’s the cyclical nature of these things, but we’d happily rock this ‘USA’ colourway doing whatever it is we young folk do these days.
The Nike Air Oscillate ‘USA’ is available right now at select stockists, including over at Sneakersnstuff.
