The Nike Air Max Zero is what you get when you take the design of the Centre Pompidou and filter it through the mind of a young Tinker Hatfield. 'The one before the 1', its composition is slightly different to other early Air Maxes – but the familiar build beckons to any Air head. After its unveiling during Air Max Day last year, the Air Max Zero has finally taken off in 2016 with multiple colourways and even popped up in NIKE iD.
Here the Zero has been drenched in one brooding colour. Everything from the breathable textile upper to the Phylon midsole is dipped in ‘Obsidian’ blue. Hyperfuse overlays concentrate the colour, while contrasting branding on the tongue pops in white.
The Nike Air Max Zero in Obsidian is available now from Politics.
