At first sight, this new colourway of the Nike Air Max 200 may recall comparisons to the legendary ‘South Beach’ LeBron 8. It was a monumental release back in 2010, so it’s a nice reminder of old times on a new sneaker.
The teal and hot pink nods to the sunny, beach-faring locale of Miami, strongly contrasted by black hits on the upper and midsole. The mesh construction and colourful accents definitely mean this is a sneaker for where the weather is fair.
A little slice of South Beach is out now at YCMC.
