UPDATE: After initially spotting the early images in 2015, we finally get a proper look at the first-ever Air Max 120 'Hyper Blue' retro. Available in Foot Locker AU stores nationally.
In a move that's newsworthy only to the most devout Air Max followers, Nike has dug deep into its vaults to bring back the Air Max 120! The running mate to the our beloved Air Max Plus back in 1998, the MX Air equipped Air Max 120 shared similar gradient fading colourways with the TN, you can definitely see shades of Hyper Blue and Tiger Orange in the first two retros in the gallery above. With its crazy webbed upper construction and wild outsole design, we thought the 120 might have been relegated to Nike nerd forums and left to crumble in collections; we don't know who we have to thank at Portland for bringing this back - but thank you! Unfortunately, the gradient yellow-to-orange fading on the OG retro might anger the pedants among us, but let's just celebrate that Nike is bringing back an often-forgotten part of the Air Max history. We can't wait for more detailed photos to surface!
