Nike Air Huarache (Purple Punch)
Not every notable release thunders into stores on the hype machine. Sometimes rare retro colourways drop quietly under the radar – just like this Nike 'Purple Punch'. Though rumours about its re-release in 2012, this is the first time the colourway has covered a Huarache since 1991. When we interviewed Gooey Wooey – the quintessential Hua collector – he named this as one of the to track down, as well as his Huarache of all time. High praise indeed!
This retro comes in the exact same purple, white and black colour scheme as the OG, but revises the toe box with mesh instead of nylon.
