Hot on the heels of official release info for the white/black Air Force 1 Low Utility, Nike have officially introduced the silhouette. Part of the sportswear giant's seasonal AF-1 overhaul, the new kicks come equipped with the same Fidlock magnetic buckle that appears on the Komyuter as the Swoosh replaces the shoe's prototypical lacing. That simplified entry is joined by an extended mesh tongue and a new heel pull tab that comes complete with a moulded D-ring. According to the Swoosh, 'these elements form an aesthetically audacious vision for the AF-1, while retaining the shoe's fundamental hard-wearing qualities'.
Though the glow-in-the-dark pair is reportedly set for an October 5 release, Nike have confirmed that a global launch for the AF-1 Utility won't take place until November 1.
