2000’s retrofuturistic baller, the Nike Air Flightposite 2, is somewhat of a divisive silhouette. Some consider it to be a cutting-edge, future-forward design, while others aren’t so sure. Regardless, it’s a very interesting sneaker.
Here it is in idiosyncratic ‘Eggplant’ mode, the iridescent purple finish closely associated to the Foamposite technology encasing the upper. Born out of the Alpha Project series, sleek design features like zippered shroud, streamlined shapes, ice soles, and the five dot signifiers are found throughout.
There’s no release date on these just yet, but hopefully Nike spots will have them soon.
