These days everyone is familiar with ACG classics like the Air Revaderchi, Wildwood, Okwahn II, and Terra Humara, but Nike's outdoors-centric lineup is chock full of forgotten gems that rarely see the light of day. Thankfully, the Swoosh have opened up the vaults to bring back at least one of those ACG relics: the Air Skarn.
Originally released back around 1997, the Air Skarn had much in common, aesthetically, with the Air Max heavyweights of the period, but (obviously) was specifically tailored for off-road use with chunky tooling, a grippy tread pattern, and more rugged materials. 2019's retro stays true to the OG and even utilises Nike ReGrind, transforming old scraps into new offerings.
