New Balance Reveal the 990v5

The set the pace for running shoes back in 1982 and, in the 40 years since, it’s remained the pinnacle of premium materials and tech. Now, in 2019, they’re ushering in the fifth iteration of the runner.

Debuting in the brand’s favourite grey, the v5 brings the vibe of its predecessor, but simplifies the panels and sole unit for a modernised look. The branding has also scored an update, with a renovated ‘Made in USA’ badge gracing the tongue and ‘V5’ logo hitting the heel.

Those concerned with pavement-pounding performance needn’t worry, the ENCAP sole and reinforced TPU collar will keep these going, mile after mile.

These don’t have a solid release date, but look for them to drop sometime in Spring.
