Way back in 1996, the ML850 was New Balance's first attempt at entering the youth market. It was designed by the brand's youngest footwear designer at the time, Stephanie Howard, and is known to be the first silhouette that replaced the brand's 'N' branding with the now regularly used 'NB' feature.
For this new Grey/White colourway, NB have applied a black mesh to the base of the 850, grey suede trim along the sides, and a white leather mudguard beneath the two. The red-toned collar and tongue, on the flip side, are the most eye-catching features on this model, giving it a more retro look.
The kicks will be dropping at SNS and other select retailers on December 14. Get them while they're hot.
