New Balance are crushing it this year. They’ve dropped enticing colabs like those with Stance and Concepts, and maintained their output of premium GRs with releases like the ‘Baseball’ 995s and ‘Desert Heat’ 998s – and the sneaker world has noticed.
Pushing it further, NB's creative team has dreamed up this ‘Coral Snake’ 997. The shoe deals with muted and somewhat mismatched tones with ease, wearing beige on the forefoot while flaunting ‘Coral’ and a militant green. The serpentine element comes from scaled leather detail and branding, lending the 997 a little extra bite.
The New Balance 997 Coral Snake is available now from History of New York.
