Nike’s 2019 N7 collection features a new lifestyle-cum-skate sneaker called the Air Zoom Down Rock N7, designed by the prolific Tinker Hatfield. Additional angles have now emerged ahead of its release.
Working with motifs created by musician and N7 advocate, Taboo, the mid-top sneaker’s upper is built on sturdy fine suede, with graphic inserts on the tongue and Swoosh. Beneath is a classic rubber cupsole as per proven skateboard shoe design.
Not seen in our initial preview is the Air Zoom Rock N7’s outsole: sharing a similar tread and graphic pattern to Tinker’s other new silhouette, the Zoom Heritage N7. Cool factor just increased tenfold.
