James Lavelle's influence in style and streetwear is undeniable, and together with his Mo' Wax crew, James brought together elements of music, fashion and Art together that laid the foundations for the hip hop, sneaker obsessed movement that exploded during the '90s that eventually led to the creation of magazines like our own. Last year, Mo' Wax celebrated it's 21st anniversary, and since then the dormant record label have been working together with a number of brands and artists to share their legacy with a new generation that are just as fixated with Bape and Futura as the last one was. Their newest project is a small capsule collection with Converse that includes two Jack Purcells; one a premium stingray leather mid-top, and a low JP that features a stark white leather upper embossed with Futura 2000 designed camo. Both sneakers also feature the camo as highlights on the heel and insole, and features an icy branded outsole. Unfortunately, this will only be a friends and family release, so unless you're down with the clique, your best bet to grab these would be on eBay.
