Mizuno's Wave Rider Gets Another Colab
’s 1 has been reborn this year, using the return of the chunky 90s aesthetic as a springboard to launch back into the zeitgeist. With a colab under its belt, Mizuno reappeared on our feeds and on our feet. Now, are getting in on the action.
The two have joined forces to bring us the Wave Rider Phoenix, named for the titular mythical bird’s regenerative powers. The shoe sports a suede and mesh upper in a classic grey, red and gunmetal colourway, keeping all of its 90s touches, but adds Mizuno's running tech to the mix.
From the look of things, Mizuno has emerged from the flames ready to take on the 21st century.
Expect to see these drop on on April 28, and from other select retailers on May 12.
