Mihara Yasuhiro is a legendary Japanese fashion designer who continues to break the barrier between art and sneakers. Originally breaking into the footwear scene in the early 90s, Mihara then went on to partner with PUMA to create a number of experimental shoes, such as the MY-72 which was part Brogue, part sneaker.
Continuing his journey with footwear, Mihara has now created sneakers under his namesake label that are inspired by classic models. He has also replaced the normal midsole with his 'Original Sole' — a distorted and grotesque take on the classic sneaker sole.
If you're into art and sneakers, then these are for you, head over to SSENSE to cop, there's only a few sizes left!
