Mercer Amsterdam x NASA Sneaker Inspired by Apollo 11
Mercer Amsterdam have linked up with NASA for a sneaker celebrating the first spaceflight to land man on the moon: the Apollo 11.
The limited run of 96 sneakers pulls its aesthetic influence from NASA’s engineering lab, with white leather dominating the upper and accents of deep blue hitting the heel tabs. The coordinates of the Kennedy Space Center where Apollo 11 was launched are stamped across the sneaker’s vamp, while red laces pick up nicely on the silhouette’s more subdued colour palette.
