Fashion label Margaret Howell has collaborated with Mizuno's M-Line division to produce a premium pair of retro-inspired kicks. Making it's debut in 2016 for the brand's 110th anniversary, Mizuno's new M-Line draws on the brand's early 70s designs by preserving the traditional runner aesthetics, but also introduces some modern improvements and styling.
Worlds away from the high-tech modern runners Mizuno is best known for, Howell's colab is beautifully refined and minimalist in its execution. Featuring a traditionalist combination of nylon and suede, the shoe's upper is cloaked in black, the only exception being the white Mizuno logo on the tongue. A crisp white midsole adds a dose of clean contrast. Made in Japan, premium quality can be expected to match this colab's premium look.
The Margaret Howell x Mizuno M-Line colab will release on August 28, exclusively through Margaret Howell outlets in Japan. An online release will follow on September 8 through Margaret Howell's online store.
