Back for round two, the Converse First String team comes together with Parisian fashion house, Maison Martin Margiela, for a second stab at the Chuck Taylor and Jack Purcell. Once again, all four options come hand painted in a coating of off-white, highlighting each distinct grain of each brush stroke. Unlike the first round, however, the canvas uppers have been ditched for more provocative leather base layers. Alongside the Amber Glow and True Navy options in the CT 1970 HI, the Jack Purcell Ox will feature in both Azure Blue and Viking Red bases, boasting insignia stamped leather lined inners too. All four colour options will be dropping this Saturday, May 24, from Up There Store at 1/15 McKillop Street in the Melbourne CBD. All pairs not sold upon launch, will become available on the Up There webstore, commencing at 12 noon.
