Magic Stick x Nike: A Lesson in Club Couture

Do you ever find yourself sitting in the dankest corner of the club, alongside plebs of the lowest order, wondering what you have to do to get your butt onto a couch in the VIP? Well, we can’t answer that — either you’ve got it or you don’t. But, what we can do is get you one  step closer, thanks to the upcoming collaboration between Tokyo’s Magic Stick and .

The has been designed with reference venue-issued wristbands that show that you possess the requisite clout to enter the top echelon. The upper has been made from Tyvek, the strange synthetic material that’s used to make those papery wristbands so damn hard to tear off. It’s also been accented with 3M reflective pops to light up the DF, while the ankle strap has a press-stud-styled closure, reminiscent of the plastic snap-style band. The lesson is this; if you think the most hyped sneakers are all you need to gain entry into the inner sanctum of clubland cool… let’s just say your next date will probably be with Jason Markk and not the velvet roped refuge you lust for.
