The crew from Nike have no shortage of materials to choose from (they literally have textiles for miles) but every now and then it's necessary to look beyond the Swoosh stash for something extra special. Their latest mission outside of the Beaverton compound sees Nike’s designers tap into the expert weaving capabilities of London Cloth, continuing the Swoosh's recent obsession with indigo-dyed sneakers. As one of the world’s premier small batch textile producers, London Cloth’s artisans are entirely committed to the finest finished products and their hand woven rope-dyed Nike’s have definitely come up trumps. The new women’s collection features an Air Max 1, Blazer and Cortez, each of which is designed to weather and wear like your favourite pair of blue jeans.
The London Cloth Co. x Nike indigo collection will be available from September 1 at select stockists.
