For many Polo collectors, 1992 was the pinnacle of the golden era for the brand, their combination of luxury and athletic apparel mixed with a healthy dose of colour blocking and bold graphics that year set the tone for street fashion for years to come. In the last year, we've already seen tributes to the famous Snow Beach Collection that was released in 1992 from Saucony and Le Coq Sportif, and under the direction of creative director Willie Esco with blessing from the Lo Life crew, in 2015 Etonic will release a Stable Air Base that celebrates the iconic 1992 Stadium collection, referencing the famous 'Plates Pullover' that is now considered one of the most coveted pieces in the brand's history. Sporting the patriotic blue, red and white colour blocking just like the pullover, the heel references the 'Plates' graphic on the front of the pullover while giving a nod to the Lo Life's 1988 founding year. No release date has been set, but look forward to this as a part of a larger Lo Life collection that will be available later in the year. Two L's up!
